New Clients Only:
Before we can start caring for your pet(s), we need to set up an initial meeting (free). This way you and especially your pet(s) are comfortable with us.This meeting is also when we can go over your pet's needs, routine, and application.We will also get a key or garage key pad code at this visit. The initial meeting takes anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes. These meetings must be scheduled at least 3 days before service starts. We will not care for any dog(s) we have not met.
Timing Of Visits:
Please keep in mind that we see multiple pets in a day.We can't guarantee an exact time but we will make every attempt to be within range of the time you want us to come. Do to scheduling the max time we can spend at a visit is 30 minutes.
Typical Times for Mid-Day Walks: 9:30 am to 3 pm with a max of 2 visits per day.
Vacation Times (3x a day): 7am- 9am, 12pm-3pm, 8pm-10pm
Vacation Times (4 x a day): 7am-9am, 11:30am-1:30pm, 4pm-6pm, 8:30pm-10pm
Times can be adjusted. Mid Day walks scheduled after 5 pm or on weekends will occur an additional charge.
Cat/Other Animal Care Times: Anytime during the day, unless specific time is preferred.
On Call Visits- Please be advised that last minute calls for service on same day will be charged $25.00 per visit and subject to availability.
Holiday Fees:
$25 per holiday in addition to normal rate. Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day
Weather Policy:
In extreme weather conditions, walks are limited to quick potty breaks outside. Rest of the remaining visit will be spent indoors. This could be from excessive heat, cold, snowy/icy conditions, and rain. This is at the discretion of walker/sitter and what they deem unsafe conditions. In Winter months, please try to keep a clear path of snow and ice to door. Please also have a shovel available, if possible.
Vaccinations:
All dogs and outside cats are to be up to date on their vaccinations. This is important for your pet's health and the safety of our walkers/sitters.
Payment:
We accept Cash, Checks, Zelle, Venmo
Mid-Day Clients: Payment is due for week of service, typically on Mondays or Fridays.
Vacation Clients: Payment in full is due the date service begins. No exceptions.
Entering Your Home:
Keys are securely kept on file with only your pet's name on key ring. This way if you will be using our services frequently, we can avoid having to pick up/ drop off keys. A copy of the key should be given at first meet and greet. If you would like to have your key left in a secure location outside your home at last visit, please let sitter know. We can also enter home using garage key pad but keep in mind if the power should go out, we will not be able to enter home. Key return or pick up will be an additional charge of $10 per incident.
Your Arrival Home- Vacations Only
Upon returning home please contact pet sitter so we know you arrived home safely and no extra visits are required. You may do so by calling or texting. If we do not hear from you within a reasonable time from when you were scheduled to be home, it may be necessary to make another visit to your pet(s).
Cancellations
Mid-Day Dog Walking: You may cancel up until 9 am the day of service without penalty. If you already paid for walk, you will receive a credit. Any cancellation after this, you will forfeit money paid for that day.
Vacation Care: You may cancel up to 48 hours before start of service with out penalty. After this time, you will be billed for $25.00 cancellation fee. Should you arrive home early, no credit or refund will be given.
New client's are required to fill out pet application and sign a contract. This contract will be good for all future service but may require updating.
Other Fur Bits
We do not provide over night care at this time. We do not board or kennel pets. We only care for pets that are non-aggressive. If you feel your pet will be protective of your home, please arrange for another form of pet care. We can assist in potty training and basic commands. We however are not behaviorist or dog trainers. Please discuss with pet sitter/dog walker the commands you are working on with your pet or the ones they already know. We strive to stick with your pet's routine!
